Courtney Carpenter, MS is your in-store nutrition consultant with a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from University of Bridgeport and a total of 24 years experience in the field. She offers brief in-store consultations on a first come, first serve basis and dedicated individual counseling for $75/hr.
Individual counseling may include advice about diet and supplements, including herbs, and lifestyle changes. Courtney also offers Bach Flower consultations for people and pets in the store and as part of private appointments.
Courtney also gives consultations to the patrons of the Columbia Association gyms. Please call the gym of your choice to arrange for a free 20 minute session or to inquire about the Fit Beginnings program.

Sherrie Trede Black worked in critical care and oncology nursing for seven years before obtaining her Juris Doctorate from the Washington College of Law. As a lawyer for 30 years, she acted as mediator, litigator and counsel. Sherrie was President of the Board of Directors of the NLRB Federal Credit Union for two decades, and has recently been pivotal in the planning and opening of the Wellness Center at Howard Community College. Sherrie is a student of T‘ai Chi Ch‘uan and a certified Zero Balance Practitioner in addition to holding a Master‘s Degree in Acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute and is also an expericenced Registered Nurse.

As a nurse for 25 years, she specialized in critical care, clinical education, and chronic pain management. For 10 years Margie was Director of the Orthopaedic Joint Replacement Unit at Montgomery General Hospital. In 2005, Margie was appointed to the Manchester Who‘s Who Among Executive and Professional Women in Healthcare. She is a Level II Usui Reiki Healer and practices Facial Rejuvenation in addition to holding a Master‘s Degree in Acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute and is also an expericenced Registered Nurse.
