Tips to Beat Winter Lethargy
The UK's National Health Service Choices has issued its top tips to help stay healthy and beat winter tiredness.
They include eating more foods that are high in vitamin D such as
oily fish and eggs, getting more natural daylight by opening the
curtains immediately on getting up and regular exercise. Other tips
are getting into a good sleeping routine of around eight hours each
night, trying relaxition techniques to reduce stress and eating
plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Dr Knut Schroeder said: "In the winter months many of my patients
tell me they find it hard to get out of bed in the morning and are
generally feeling tired and lethargic."
